Kansas City Zoo Conservation Leadership Scholarship
The Kansas City Zoo Conservation Leadership Scholarship provides supervisory and middle-management level professionals from Latin American zoological institutions an opportunity to attend the Association of Zoos & Aquarium's (AZA) Managing for Success professional training courses. While attending the courses, professionals from Latin American zoos, aquariums, and conservation organizations will receive the highest level of training available in the field of zoo and aquarium management. In addition, they will have an opportunity to share professional experiences and establish new partnerships with their North American counterparts.
The scholarship assists in the development of Latin America's future conservation leaders and contributes to improved management standards among facilities that are on the front lines of a global effort to protect and preserve endangered species and their habitats.
Note: This is a two-year scholarship. Applicants must commit to attending the AZA's Managing for Success: Career Development and Managing for Success: Organizational Development professional training courses.
