Houston Zoo Conservation Training Scholarship (Houston Int’l.)
The Houston Zoo International Conservation Training Scholarship promotes the development of professional capacity in developing country zoos, aquariums, and conservation organizations. The scholarship provides full funding to qualified zoo, aquarium, and conservation professionals interested in participating in any one of the
Association of Zoos and Aquarium's
(AZA) professional training program courses. Employees or associates of developing country zoological institutions or conservation organizations may apply. Preference is given to candidates who are currently involved in cooperative wildlife conservation efforts with AZA member institutions or partners. The Houston Zoo in partnership with Zoo Conservation Outreach Group (ZCOG) provides annual funding for this scholarship award.
