The Jacksonville Zoo
Elephant Care and Management Scholarship is sponsored by the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens and promotes professional training for elephant managers in Latin America and the Caribbean Basin. The scholarship allows the recipient to participate in the Association of Zoos & Aquarium’s (AZA)
Principles of Elephant Management professional training program course. While attending the course, the scholarship recipient will receive the latest information and training available in the field of elephant management and conservation. Likewise, the individual will have an opportunity to share professional experiences and establish working partnerships with their North American counterparts.
